This domain has been around since the early days of the internet.  As a child I loved the fair when it visited my home town of Redruth, Cornwall, as I got older I joined several societies and learned more about the industry and decided to pull together recollections of mine, and other people of the fairground in Cornwall.  Some of the articles are old history, some concern something that happened recently.  All are relavent to the West Country and the Duchy of Cornwall.   The photo above shows Redruth fair from 1981 and was photographed by Paul 'DoNut' and shows the Anderton & Rowland Colin Devey Waltzer, George Devey Dodgems, Colin Devey Round up, Whitelegg (or Henry James Wheel and lots of people.
