The photos above were probably taken in the early 1980's or late 1970's and by this time Vivyan Bartle had purchased the Regal cinema at Redruth - the first film he showed was ET in Nov 1982. At about this time this original set of equipment was sold to Ireland with the Hoop-las and other side shows and the transport went with it. I am sure that there are lots of stories about the Skating rink, the Regal and other ventures including subsuming the Whitelegg's Funfairs name when in 2001 Bartle's Amusements changed it's name to Whiteleggs Funfairs Limited.
